1/3 of Americans say TSA cavity searches are okay by them

    In what should be a surprising result but, sadly, isn’t, one-third of your fellow Americans say a body cavity search to board an airplane would be fine and dandy.​
    No one who’s been paying the least bit of attention in the past few years can possibly be surprised by this. Certainly not anyone who knows what the Patriot Act is, or the NDAA, or the Espionage Act, or anyone who’s looked at even one of the hundreds of posts at this blog.​
    You simply cannot pretend that you don’t know what’s going on in this country. And if you try, don’t be surprised if you’re referred to as a “Good German.”​
    I’ve already said more times than I can count that I don’t know what it will take to wake people up. I’ve already documented thousands of accounts of TSA abuse. I’ve already warned against the danger of denial and the danger of conditioning. I’ve already suggested ways to resist. I’ve already said I’ve run out of words. I don’t know what else to do.
