With a little bit of help from Chrisopher Elliott, the story (& a link to the video ) is finally in the real mainstream media ... Washington Post: The Navigator: TSA body scanners’ apparent flaw raises airport security concerns The article also cites the usual predictable drivel from a TSA spokeshole: I just can't think of a kinder way to put this, Greg Soule: You're a blithering idiot. When someone TWICE smuggles through a container large enough to hold 2.5 times a hazardous amount of PETN (not to mention the guns that have been repeatedly smuggled through by TSA's own testers), there is only one conclusion that can be reached: Your scanners are worthless, and each and every one of your so-called "layers" of security are worthless. When it's possible to smuggle explosives and guns onto planes, your agency has FAILED. Period. Stop. End of story.
