I tuned in about 15 minutes after it started. All they were talking about was unruly passengers who refused to turn off their "electronic devices" and how the stews and pilots had to kick them off the plane. Boring and nothing to do with TSA. Maybe I should have stayed tuned in, but there was something more interesting that I wanted to watch.

I just looked at the ABC-20/20 website and it didn't seem as if they were going to address the TSA issues at all. Perhaps some pressure was brought to bear upon the network.

Or not. After all, when was the last time any network covered a real and controversial issue? They don't even talk about Ron Paul.

I, for one, would have paid some hard cash to see Mike Wallace in his prime turned loose on John Pistole for a thirty-minute interview. Or David Frost, for that matter.

You guys all missed the boat. DeafBlonde, if you had waited through the next commercial break, you would have seen the segment on TSA. It was fascinating.

Was it hard hitting journalism? No. However, there was no "We just need to put up with this stuff. The world is different now" nonsense. That would not have been the case even 6 months ago. The tone in the piece, though not as fervently anti-TSA as a TUGger might like, was that of, "Well, TSA, you are kind of dumb, and you don't really know what you're doing, do you?"

I DVR'd it, so I'll do a full review later. I'm out and about at the moment and can't watch it.

A couple of things the interviewer did really, really well. She had a lengthy interview with Stacy Armatto, as well as a shorter one with "Jennifer" from Affection's video. She got a couple of things wrong, such as mentioning that Armatto tried to avoid screening of her breast milk, not that she wanted alternate screening. And some things came out of that interview that I hadn't known before.

She also asked John Pistole about the effectiveness of the scanners. He admitted that they were not 100% effective at finding things. Now that it's out in the open and on MSM, I'd like to see the conversation become more virulent in the, then why are we even doing this department.

Seems like not to many watched the whole thing. The TSA segment was pretty good, and covered a lot of their idoticy. Most of it was against the TSA. Pissy made a couple of statements, but I don't think they were effective at all because 20/20 didn't follow up on his statements.

I would have liked the segment on the TSA to have been longer so they could go into more detail. Many of the things they talked about I already knew but it was a chance to educate others who may not keep up with what the TSA is doing. They included the video Miss America made as well as one I've seen here with the woman yelling for a police officer that she had been raped by the TSA who had patted her down. I did not know that the TSA gave Stacy Armatto a hard time about the breast milk because they thought she wasn't following the "rules" but that they wanted to "teach her a lesson" from the last time she went through security with breast milk. After watching the entire show regarding stressed flight attendants, troubled pilots, sleeping air traffic controllers and the lines for the TSA plus their invasive procedures it makes me wonder why anyone would want to fly anymore. After Pissy made his comments about the scanners not being 100% full proof he added they had "layers" of security which almost made me gag. I wish someone would make an hour show JUST on the TSA.

Even if they did an hour-long show on the TSA -- which someday somebody probably will -- it won't make a dent in the heads of the determined-to-ignore-reality.

And yes, they punished Stacy Armato to show her who was boss, which is exactly why they abuse lots of other people as well. Power. Control. To enforce obedience. If you don't obey us, this is what happens. The Master Lists are full of this behavior.

Why would they waste their time? Pissy has been known to outright lie, then claim his supporting data as "SSI."

As has every other employee of this useless agency.

If a TSA employee says something, it's far less effort (and usually more accurate) to assume they're lying. Let them prove they're telling the truth (if they are.)

And even if they did, any employer with integrity would stick the application in the shredder the instant TSA in the work history was noted.
