    ACLU Phone App Lets You Shoot the Cops

    Droid app immediately uploads cop video to ACLU server and can lock phone at end of process to hinder cops would take the phone & try to delete it.

    Unfortunately this app is intended for documenting stop & frisk abuses and works only in the NYC area. :(

    I would love to see something like this expand nationally.

    Need this app for use anywhere, anytime. Anyone have any pull with the ACLU?

    I'm sure this app will become more broadly available. It might be limited to NYC just to control bandwidth and backend traffic as the product matures.

    I think it would be easy for Dropbox to add functions like this to their app. There are also a variety of apps very similar that could be used with some tweaks.

    Needless to say, NYPD is BIFD (Butthurt In the First Degree) over this.
