This poor dummy couldn't acquire a single weapon, build a single weapon or come up with someone other than an FBI agent who could do these things for him, but we're supposed to fear him?
I've got an idea. Let's enroll this poor little wanna-be in 5th grade. Maybe in 7 years he'll be ready for the Job Corps! I'm sorry, but this man isn't a terrorist, he's a child in a man's body. He needs to be placed in an adult group home, not prison.

It is unbelievable that the feds are bragging about this. This is not front page news. It's not a terrorism case either. It's a comic tragedy.

Just like Omar Farouk Abdulmutallab couldn't have carried out an attack if his life depended on it. Just like the other sad sacks who've been entrapped, and then the FBI and every other alphabet soup agency out there brags about their "big catch."

And, of course, the predictable headline:
"Feds: Islamic extremist held in Tampa plot"

That's right, let's scream it from the rooftops. If he'd been blonde, blue-eyed, and named Smith, do you think the headline would've read "Christian extremist held in Tampa"??

And the predictable Islamophobic comments at that article from our fine upstanding fellow citizens. We bend over and spread 'em every time an authority figure tells us to, we spend billions on fake security, while we're going bankrupt, and then we preach to the rest of the world about freedom and democracy.

Oh, well, with the NDAA, we'll be entrapping and arresting everyone else sooner or later, too, not just Muslims. But hey, This Is The Greatest Country In The World!

If he's got $500 to throw around, he could still end up with some effective weaponry which would make him a bit unwelcome in a group home setting. He does sound like a bit of a fruitcake, but a potentially dangerous one.

    FBI creates another "terrorist"...

    ...so they can arrest him.

    No joke.

The FBI has once again enticed a hapless young man with fake bombs, guns, and help with creating a "terrorist" plot. Don't worry, though, they had him under control the whole time.

Which begs the question, if the FBI was overseeing the entire thing, doesn't that make FBI the terrorists?

Those are some ambitious plans for just one guy. As for picking off people with an AK and a Uzi, Florida has been a Shall Issue concealed carry State for ~20 years, so it wouldn't take long before someone returned fire.

Fortunately for us all, they picked a dummy to play with this time. Unlike the ATF (?) (or was it the DEA), who tried to 'play' with the bad guys down south and ended up handing over hundreds of weapons (paid for by the taxpayers) and costing at least one US agent his life. Oops.

    All fine except for this:
The notion that the Obama admin is "leftist" is so hilarious as not to be worth responding to. And the implication that the biggest danger we have from DHS is its support of illegal aliens is false. We've written tens of thousands of words at TUG about the abuses this agency commits against us.
