    TSA Donates Equipment To Smithsonian For 9/11 Remembrance

    Truly, I don't know whether to call this pathetic, hilarious, or shameful. Or maybe all of the above. Then again, perhaps it's appropriate that we be reminded of the farce, sham, and abuse we've erected in this country all because of 9/11.

    Well, I imagine there are brown shirts in the museums of Germany.

    Perhaps the Smithsonian is thinking ahead.

    And I had a nostalgic moment when I saw an O29 keypunch in the Göteborg city museum -- had to go find my wife elsewhere in the museum and show her how I used to "write" my programs for the big iron.

    I don't really have an issue with the collection of these materials. We might wretch as they're used today as 9/11 remembrance propaganda, but in the long-term institutions like the Smithsonian are supposed to be collecting artifacts of everyday like to preserve for posterity.
