I am now here since I became aware that the Flyertalk Safety and Security Forum was primarily concerned with protecting the safety and security of TSOs. In addition to revelling in schadenfreude every time a smurf is arrested, convicted, or humiliated, I contribute on topics involving law, having practiced aviation law and other trial law for 30 years, and topics involving accidents and incidents using my experience as the forensic director of an aviation accident investigation firm.
Nice to see you around 4nsicdoc! You bring an interesting perspective to the conversation that I thoroughly enjoy.
Honored to have you here. My father was Landside Director at MIA for a number of years, prior to the ValueJet accident. Grim work, but someone has to do it (well). Welcome!
Welcome. The good news here is that you'll have more freedom to express your opinion than at FT. Kind of the Elite line for TSA opponents.
Wow. Interesting. I tried to join FlyerTalk a while back, but kept running up against error messages over my name/password/now I forget, so I finally gave up. I didn't know the proclivities of its members, so this is very enlightening.
Their members are mostly decent folk. The problem is that one of their monitors is a fascist crackpot, and as a whole they tend to coddle those members who claim to be TSA employees.
Fascinating! Thank you so much for sharing. Are you still practicing? NotACriminal Paralegal and not in any area of law remotely as interesting as Aviation.
