I humbly submit that this is the most affecting "puppy post" to date. I can't help but be charmed, even while I recognize the strategy.

 

K9's used for explosive screening are fine, but we all know there are some very restrictive limitations. Dogs have short workdays. So I would be interested in exactly how a K9 handler spends their day. Is the work day as short as the dogs has to be? I would also like to know exactly how TSA K9's are trained and exactly what they are trained to detect.

Bottom line, if TSA is involved it is probably not a solid program.

I'd say this is a "given." I would also throw in that Stella has a longer attention span.

Senior moment -- I really meant to point out that two non-puppy puppy posts on Propaganda Village (rather than a sympathizer newspaper) have pushed the federal register post off the first page.

 

I'd also like to know the resolution protocol when an explosive detector dog alerts on your crotch.

 

The sad reality is that any alert is apparently grounds for them to go right for your crotch.

I mean, really, since anyone who knows anything about bringing a bomb on a plane is going to shove it in their panties, that's the next logical step, right?

 

A stillborn anencephalic chihuahua would meet that criterion, so I'm sure Stella blows it out of the water.

 

Shella looks to be in better shape than most TSA workers and probably smells better and drools less.
