Ok, I'm a life member of the NRA and obviously have very strong feeling this subject but ... How does a blind man aim a gun? More important, how does a blink man identify a threat before he pulls the trigger of his hopefully properly aimed gun? PIX 11: Blind NRA member arrested at Newark Airport A blind NRA member was arrested at Newark Airport with a gun in his checked luggage. TSA screeners spotted the unloaded gun in Raymond Whitehead’s bag. They also found seven illegal knives. Whitehead’s reason for having the gun was that he was travelling to a “strange place”, as he put it, and wanted to protect his family. The carpenter from New Mexico says he’s going to sue because he says police allowed him to bang into walls and denied him a lawyer or food for 10 hours. The Port Authority denies he was mistreated.
Switchblades aren't illegal here in AZ. Nor does the video mention why those particular "seven" knives are illegal. Ridiculous.
This sounds like a spoof piece. This struck me as an anti-gun piece written to create the impression that the NRA endorses giving blind people guns.
