    And no, not about MMW. This Sun-Sentinal story follows up on the deliberate, continuing use of backscatter machines such as those in use at FLL, after the recent Broward County Commission vote:
    said US Rep. Wassermann Schultz.

    The article quotes a number of people on the issue, including a local radiologist, and those who had written to Obama earlier:
    This should get the attention of those in Broward County, and hopefully wider attention too. Not a bad piece to link to.

    ;) Good. Nevertheless, the photo accompanying the article with the caption "Medical experts say the TSA's backscatter scanner poses cancer concerns" is a MMW scanner. (The same photo is also used for the link to the related article on the EU ban.) People are (justifiably) confused. The media is adding to the confusion.

    I registered and tried to sign in to leave a comment about the photo (and call joe326 an idiot) but having problems signing in.
