Visited my 93 y/o grandfather for Thanksgiving in North Carolina. In the past, I've been able to time my unpacking at the x-ray, and have scooted through the WTMD.. This was the first time that my process failed.

Walked towards the WTMD, but the clerk pointed me to the MMW :sigh:

Here goes the conversation from that point-forward:

Where do they find these people?!

Just wait until the job market improves. The only people willing to work for the TSA will be whackers and gung-ho types that want to be John Pistole when they grow up.

    Awesome!

If we didn't have TSA to keep these lifeforms marginally employed, we need several dozen new prisons to get them off the streets.

Prisons? Put them in tent cities surrounded by machine gun nests and draw a line of death.

Except that I'm afraid the opposite will happen: the economy isn't going to improve, and most of the only jobs available will be with various arms of the National Security State, of which the TSA is a prime example.
