Last I heard Jesse was going to quit America, guess that didn't work out. Still our ex gov always seems to get a lot of attention whenever he quits [again].

Some of us here at TSA News and at Travel Underground stopped flying long ago. Though we love — no, adore — travel, we stopped flying when the Reign of Molestation was implemented. I took the last flight of my life in September 2010. Wendy Thomson did likewise around the same time. Sommer Gentry, who used to fly about 50 times a year, has almost completely stopped, and will fly only rarely and only when she can avoid the strip-search scanners and the gropes; otherwise, she turns around and walks out.
Countless other people have also stopped flying because of the TSA, as their comments and letters-to-the-editor all over the blogosphere attest. And now someone famous has joined the club: former Governor of Minnesota and pro-wrestler Jesse Ventura.
He tells why in this interview with CNN’s Piers Morgan.

    I flew 40+ roundtrips in both 2009 and 2010, and 20 in 2008. I have flown exactly 0 times since Nov. 2010.

I love to travel and though I wish to join the ranks of protest, my job-livilyhood requires me to fly. Per company's orders.

Yes I could get a different job with a different company, but aside from the excellent benefits, current market, and all that, I refuse to let the Smurfs and their practices dictate THAT much of my life.

Go on over to TSA News and see what this (expletive deleted) "WillyG" (Will Greenstreet elsewhere on the web) has written. Then set him straight:

Did my part. Feeling particularly snarky today for some reason.

    A flight attendant speaks:
And I've now left several comments, trying to combat the AFS idiots. None have posted yet.

  15. That's a really good one. I always get choked up at the national anthem these days, not from patriotism, but because of what has happened to our country.

Stories like this are why I wouldn't set foot in an airport even if I wasn't on The List. Witnessing something like this, with giggling apparatchiks, would cause the desire to remove these oxygen thieves from this plane of existence to be overwhelming. And while there would be loads of applause, I'd still end up under the jail.
