It happened in terminal 7, approximately 9.30am. The exercise seemed to consist of more standing around than usual. Someone made a PA announcement after 3-4 minutes indicating it was over and thanking us for our participation in the exercise. No certificates of completion or appreciation for participating were offered, however.

They do this a lot at LAX; it must be from being in the vicinity of the entertainment industry to want to do acting. :p

Didn't Blogger Bob once state that travelers are never participants in TSA exercises?

Got a bridge you might be interested in buying. Has a great view of Brooklyn. :D

Wonder what would happen to a passenger that refused to participate? TASER from the airport pig?

Did passengers in the area actually play along? If you are in line there's not much you can do except wait. maybe make a phone call or check email. But if you're just passing by you can just ignore them.

Yes, you can play, too! Wait ten seconds after you hear "bravo", then say "sierra" loudly and distinctly.

Unless the pedosmurf was prior service, it would have to be explained to them.

From what I could see, everyone played along. I was watching to see if someone on the clear side of the screening process would make a run for it, but it did not happen. I guess if they wanted to be devious and help prevent escapes, they could have shut off the escalator. However, I could see from where I was that it was still running the whole time.

Of course they all played along. They'll play along with anything. They're afraid of missing their flights.
