Congress and body scanners

    Did Congress actually legislate the use of whole body scanners by the TSA?

    Yes. Though they said the TSA could use them only as secondary screening. Of course, we all know how that has played out.

    This is just more proof that the Executive Branch and Judicial Branch consider the Legislative Branch irrelevant.

    As I recall, Congress did not authorize money for deploying these to airports in 2010 because they knew they were unpopular. President Doofus then used stimulus money for their deployment.
