Mostly rhetoric I guess: http://dailycaller.com/2012/05/09/congressman-demands-tsa-administrators-immediate-resignation/
But good rhetoric. Two years ago I remember them all praising Pistole in committee, even Jim Demint, from whom I expected better.
With Broun I don't think it is rhetoric. I believe he is totally sincere in his desire to see Pistole gone.
I'm pleased to see the tidal wave swelling up and at some point it will come ashore washing away the debris of TSA.
Agree. And it's more than just Pistole. What he's calling for is a stop to the invasive gropings as well. Pistole needs to go because he allows these things to happen. The next TSA honcho will have to stop these attacks on our constitutional rights, according the article.
Well, wow! (grabs popcorn AND butter) According to Broun, Pistole must resign immediately. Is Pistole really required to step down now? Does Broun have that power? Here's hoping the answer is 'yes'.
No, Pistole serves at the pleasure of the president. It would require impeachment for congress to do anything if I understand correctly. But pressure to step down is growing and to save face Pistole might resign.
Which is why in quick succession we've had a "new", "improved" and "more dangerous" panty bomb. And a gun hidden in a teddy bear. There aren't enough of these, so I'm a just gonna use one:
Broun has the power to demand it, just as he has the power to crap in his own hand. If he demands a resignation from Pistole in one hand and craps in the other, which fills first?
How about marching out a firing squad. Nothing like using old tried and true methods to deal with modern problems.
In the referenced article, is it my imagination or does John Pistole look more and more like warmed-over death? That is a mug produced by washington DC inbreeding if there ever was one. No soul whatsoever.
