I post this only for the deliciously creepy and frightening science fiction (though it is fact) value.

And I add: not to impugn other cultures'/peoples' eating habits, but . . .

. . . you don't eat the frigging internal organs! Hello??! I've eaten calamari -- and octopus -- all my life. They're delicious, I'm not going to give them up, and neither am I going to be stupid enough to eat their internal organs -- especially "parboiled," which does not equal "cooked"! So misleading headline to boot:

Cooked squid inseminates woman’s “tongue, cheek, and gums”
In the end, I don't know which is weirder -- this story, or the fact that there's actually a site called "Squid a Day."

You can have my share. I don't eat bait.

I left a comment at both of those sites about the misleading headline. I'm still sending the story around cause it's so great, but the headline is wrong.

Love the stuff, but I like mine deep fried & crunchy.

I love it that way, too. But when I'm watching calories, I have it grilled. (Never parboiled!)
