Accompanied by the usual TSA interference with recording.

Just look at these people. There really needs to be a "The People of TSA" website.

I had a subforum here for TSA photos(separate from videos), but only one or two people contributed.

For the ability to block photography, girth may be considered an asset.

The TSA clerk is preventing the fellow from exercising his right to photograph their behavior. That is illegal, is it not?

I've not been watching the videos 'cause they make me too angry, but I chose to watch this one 'cause it was SMF which was my home airport for a while.

I think we need to start sending all these videos in which a screener blocks a photographer off to the FSD for the airport involved. Gail Levario is the FSD for Sacramento. Her e-mail addy would be

P.S. How does one find the URL for the video?

To what end? The FSDs are just as corrupt as the blue-shirted checkpoint cockroaches.

I agree that the FSD are just as bad, if not worse, than their underlings, but it does send the message of "we're watching you."

I'd also like to be able to get e-mail addresses for members of congress without going through their web pages. If we could do that, a copy of the e-mail to the FSD could also go to the MoC for the district in which the airport is located.

Someone has to be telling the screeners that interfering with photography is ok. The FSD is the local senior authority so either they are doing this or not correcting this practice.

Send it to the OIG if your going to do anything.

Mouse over the title of the video on the top, a click opens it in a new browser tab on YouTube. ;)

Why is it slugged "crazy woman"?? This passenger isn't doing anything crazy. The smurfs, as usual, are bullying.

Thanks. As soon as I figure out who the person is who represents the Sacramento area in Congress, I'll send it off.

Representative is Doris Matsui, a democrat, who voted against the Homeland Security Appropriations Act.

We've all heard people say, if you have nothing to hide then why fear the TSA. If the TSA has nothing to hide then why do they fear being recorded?

They do have something to hide - or try to, anyway: their own incompetence. Putting TSA shenanigans on Youtube has become an extreme sport these days... but it's like shooting fish in a barrel.

Is someone going to tell me why this video is slugged "crazy woman"?

The commentary on the Youtube video suggests that they might have started recording because the woman appeared "methed out" and they thought the pat-down might prove Youtube-worthy. They were right, but for the wrong reason.

I think you'll have to post that question at YouTube. Only the contributor who posted it there can answer that question.
