A new low for TSA, if that's possible ...

I've ceased to be surprised at what TSA employees will do to people.

I remain surprised at what people will tolerate from the TSA.

This must be part of that TSA program that makes transiting TSA Screening easier for those with special needs.

As I wrote the other day, just when you think the TSA can’t get any more stupid or abusive, they prove you wrong. The agency is reliable: there’s always a new low.
In the latest low (that we know of, that is — one can only imagine how many more we don’t), a deaf man was going through security when he was called, to his face and in front of everyone else, a “(expletive deleted) deafie” by TSA agents, who laughed at him, then proceeded to paw through his bags and lie to him about what he was allowed to take on board.
The offending article: candy. Which the TSA agents then ate.
Last December I wrote a post that opened with a famous statement by an infamous monster: “The more we do to you, the less you seem to believe we are doing it.”
It still holds true today, and millions of people still refuse to ackowledge it.
I have documented thousands of accounts of bullying, harassment, abuse, theft, and physical assault by the TSA. Logic dictates that there are thousands more we’ll never hear about.
The level of denial in this country about what this criminal, power-mad, out-of-control agency is doing is off the charts.
Anyone who still defends the TSA or turns a blind eye to what’s happening is being willfully ignorant. Clearly, people with such thick skulls are only capable of learning when one of these incidents happens to them.

When you ask yourself, "What's wrong with adults who openly steal candy donated to the USO and oafishly eat it in front of the citizen who made the donation?", you get very ugly answers. People with these character problems don't belong in federal service.

"What's wrong with adults who lie to people about 'security' and openly steal candy by that fraud then oafishly eat it in front of the citizen who thought they were donating a prohibited item to a good cause?"

What's wrong with them? They're TSA employees. Res ipsa loquitur.

First question is what about candy could possibly threaten TSA?

I think to myself that TSA can't possibly be that stupid then realize it's TSA we're talking about.

People with these character problems don't deserve to breath air.

Water. Coffee. A seven-day pill organizer. There's an Imperial arseload of substitutions that work rather well for illustrating just how stupid the TSA, its employees, and its supporters are.

    Well said. I agree 100%.

And why isn't this mainstream news?

We really are a nation of wussies, aren't we. :(

This still hasn't shown up anywhere except internet media but might by the weekend. There seems to be a two or three day lag between sites like The Blaze and BoingBoing and mainstream media. Must be some sort of vetting process that inhibits the majors from running them.

They "lost" the video? How usual as with the standard of other videos exhibiting then in negative acts and light....

They didn't lose the video, they reviewed over 120 hours of video and could find nothing that corresponded with what was described in the blog post.

Let's see now: the original report came out on 7/9 and on 7/12 the TSA states that they "viewed over 120 hours of video" from the checkpoint and didn't see any such behavior.

Was the video "reviewed" at fast forward?

Once again, something stinks about the TSA's response.

Not to mention how fast they claim they were able to locate the video...

Over there, I posted about the incredulity of reviewing all 120 hours of video:

I also figure that his claim of reaching out to the National Association of the Deaf (NAD) was also a lie. It appears that I was right:

I'd sent an e-mail to the NAD to attempt to ascertain if, indeed, the TSA had "reached out" to them. The e-mail went to a general contact so I've not had a response. But we now know that, yet again, the TSA and Bob have lied.

When and where does it STOP???
