Huffington Post: Dana Oliver, HuffPost Beauty Editor, Says She Was 'Violated' By TSA Because Of Her Hairstyle (VIDEO)

Huffington Post Style's Beauty Editor Dana Oliver appeared on HuffPost Live to discuss an incident in which she believes she was singled out by airport security simply because of her hairstyle. "I felt absolutely violated, standing there shoeless," she told host Nancy Redd. "Without being asked to, you know, have this done in privacy, I had a TSA agent actually go ahead and put her hands in my hair."

I've never felt so violated in my entire life -- standing shoe-less among tens of fliers with my two-strand twist out turning into a tousled mess.

It should be pointed out that men - bald men - have been having their bare scalps fondled by blue-gloved hands.

That's because it is impossible to train TSA employees on how to distinguish between different things.

I think TSA training is more inline to teaching a circus animal how to do a few tricks.

these charmless churls act as if they have ownership over your body by doing things like this. You ASK, *ssholes, before touching. who in the h*ll do you think you are?

really. would it kill you to simply inform and ASK?

It would. Someone might learn they can say, "No." And that'd be the end of the TSA.

Isn't touching before asking assault? People need to file criminal complaints against screeners who touch without asking.

Assault = Words or actions that place a person in the fear of harm
Battery = The physical act of touching/harming someone.

Technically assault could open up the door for self defense and neutralizing/eliminating a threat. If it was me...to grab me out of the blue your likely to find yourself in need of a level 1 trauma center.
