    What? Why would they do that? Airport cops and TSA already know everything...

    You would expect a cop to know how to unload a gun. The muzzleloader suggestion is interesting. I wonder why they aren't releasing specifics?

    Because it would make them look silly?

    Wonder if Alvin Crabtree was on duty at the time. Perhaps he could have helped out.

    If it is a a muzzleloader, at least in CA it is not considered loaded if the percussion cap is not installed. you can have powder and ball already tamped down and ready to go. at least, in times past. I've never considered that safe, btw.
