    My first reaction (to the title) only, is that I would never pay $50 for a cell phone charger.

    OK, these aren't ordinary chargers. :)

    My second reaction is, how will TSA deal with these electronic devices? How does one "turn it on" and demonstrate that it works at the airport security checkpoint?

    Charge your cell phone but lose your fancy $50 charger?

    This week, TSA announced that it will confiscate any battery-dead cellphone from boarding the plane. Specifically, international flights that are U.S. bound. This is important to anyone flying because smartphones run out of battery when you least expect it.
