Las Vegas Review-Journal: Britney copycat: TSA was a drag
He was turned away??
The TSA -- a bunch of (expletive deleted) morons.
That is the most delightful thing I've read all morning.
Good, let them make enemies with everyone under the sun.
Keep it up!
Article today on Truthout regarding transgender people going through security:
I did not know the scanners had "pink" and "blue" buttons but it makes sense considering not all TSA dimwits can read apparently.
The pink and blue buttons, fitting for an old-fashioned baby shower or sex-segregated restrooms, are an odd accessory for a national security investment.
Nothing like hard-coding in the discrimination.
But still, you should appreciate that at least some of them can make basic associations.
That was a really depressing article. So along with people who have medical appliances, the wheelchair-bound, etc., here's another demographic of folks who bear a heavy burden not fitting the definition of normal that the scanners require. I used to think we were better than this.
And here's the ever present standard of the highest level to questions:
"(McCarthy's) his responses to follow-up phone calls and emails regarding this question and others did not address the issue."
saw that a couple times in the article.
