Federal Times: Sen. Collins calls for independent study of airport scanner machines
She's been calling for this for a long time. And Pistole just keeps thumbing his nose at her.
And thumbing his nose at EPIC and the courts.
I skimmed through that report, and noticed the word "independent" was tossed around, any yet I could never find an actual independent entity mentioned. I'm glad she's not backing down.
It's funny, I'm just a chick with liberal arts degrees who's a pretty skilled reader. I don't have any background with which to really grasp a report like that. And yet, even I could tell it was a big smoke screen.
I'm thinking Pistole is running out of rope.
Celtic Whisper stands ready to hang him with however little is left. If the drop is too short he'll kick around a bit, but that will keep him alive for the drawing & quartering.
We believe in Olde English punishments here, especially for treason.
I glad Collins is tenacious. He has been stonewalling her long enough. I'm surprised he hasn't been held in contempt of Congress by now. I'd have perp walked him months ago.
Here's an article in the Examiner from a couple days ago:
New report on TSA scanner safety uses old data
That isn't his nose. Wrong end.
I hope Senator Collins grabs Pistole by his resistance and doesn't let go!

I'm grateful that Senator Collins is standing firm. It would be easy for her to pretend to be satisfied and drop the matter.
Yeah, I agree.
