Ha ha ha ha! The TSA hits just keep on coming!

Similar incidents in just the past five weeks: two in Newark, one in LA, one in New York, one in San Francisco, and now this. Close down the whole terminal and delay hundreds of people and dozens of flights, while the Keystone Kops run around looking for more people to grope.

Are you sure it was only five? I don't think they cover two-hand counting methods until class #4.

Just remember that the average TSA employee can't count to eleven without reaching into your pants.

And the net economic loss to the airlines, the passengers and the passengers' clients & employers was ... ?

    Checkpoint closed for an hour x 12 planes x ~100 passengers / plane ...

Plus costs of missed connections ...

With an estimated 1200 passengers affected, how many business meetings turned into "trips in vain"?

Way to go, TSA! You bozos are really on a roll!

    Redundant.

But...But...but...No planes fell out of the sky that day! It all worth going home that night, sitting at the dinner table and telling their children that mommy and daddy, at every cost possible, kept Amerika safe for another day!
And if they clean their plates, they will be big enough to one day, don the same blue shirts too.

And if they don't do their homework and get into the University, they'll probably end up at the local JC studying homeland & security preparing for a career of checking colostomy bags & grannies' diapers.

I know many successful people who've not attended a university - and by "successful," I mean they hold real jobs doing real work for good pay and not "working" for the TSA.

But all of them have graduated from high school.

    Bill Gates for example.

I was thinking of Steve Jobs as one of mine, but that's my personal bias leaking through - and Steve did attend classes in college, but never graduated.

Caradoc - you owe me a new keyboard and a box of monitor wipes. I just shot a Dublin Dr. Pepper out my nose across the room when i read that.

Our crack TSA missed the Swiss Army knife buried deep inside my son's backpack and a bottle of Krazy Glue - although the glue is less than whatever the ounce limit is it wasn't in the requisite "kippy bag" and we all know about Swiss Army knives - anyway MSP, ORD & AMS all missed it. I found them when unpacking in Lisbon this week.

So.....if they don't understand it, then they must fear it?

I'm thinking back on the cupcake, the voltmeter and such incidents;) where if they never saw or heard of it, it must be bad, evil and relieved from the owner's possession.
