USA Today: Fliers fume about fewer seats, longer lines

    Story Highlights
    • Airlines have pared the number of flights and seats they put in the air to avoid half-empty planes
    • Frequent travelers complain of having to spend more time traveling to compensate for airline tactics
    • Fees for airline services are a burden for business fliers, whose companies struggle to tally costs

My response to the airline industry: Cry me a river!

AA was reducing its schedule a couple of % each month for the last two or three months. I checked available seats for a Vegas run a few months back looking aheady about 3 months and all flights were mostly full that far out, at least as displayed on my computer.

If we can encourgage even more people to not fly perhaps some of the airline execs will start to ask questions.
