I might be a bit harsh but for anyone making such a claim should result in a long jail sentence if found guilty.

I have an alien implant -- is it ok for me to fly?

I also used to listen to the Art Bell show way to often, which should disqualify me in any case.

No recent scars, so.... crazy person? Person looking for attention?
  5. Either way, I doubt she would have made the claim if there wasn't so much fear mongering about surgically implanted bombs.

Another looney tune on a flight from a foreign (non-TSA) airport and TSA will try to find a way to take credit for "another good catch".

Given the language barrier, the woman may have been trying to describe a pacemaker or other device. My guess is that his is just another example of the fear mongers driving public paranoia to idiotic proportions to further their own interests.

Comment left at Huffington Post. Who knows if it will post. They have inscrutable procedures over there:

they had doctors on the aircraft, passengers, and these folks "examined" the woman for scars. What did *that* kind of search entail? By what authority was such a search done? do these people just make things up? If this whole thing was caused by a language issue, they just humiliated that poor woman by removing her clothing for nothing.

We probably won't get followup if it turns out she was coming to USA for medical care, had implants, and was misunderstood by FA's. After our "extensive" investigation, she was merely given to CBP to return to origin.

The lack of recent scars didn't bother the aircrew ---- what if the bomb was put in 20 years ago, just waiting for a chance?? Paranoia in the extreme.

One of the greatest things about the Internet is that if there are headlines to the effect of "UNITED STATES DEPORTS WOMAN WITH LEAKING BREAST IMPLANTS" published in other countries, we'll likely hear about it sooner or later.

What a sad, pathetic bunch of sheep Americans have become.

Woman with poor English skills on a plane is "acting suspiciously" because she is a) brown b) foreign c) doesn't speak clear English d) uses the bathroom and then passes a note to a skittish FA who loses all control.

Seriously, we're the paranoid windbags? When did the rational response to any and everything become Freak Out! Land the plane! Evacuate!

    This is madness.

By the way, my comment (see above) at HuffPo was never allowed to post. I would like to know what they found so objectionable.
