Forbes: Revising the Rules on the TSA

After each of my commercial flights in the U.S., I am impelled to post on the farcical “theater” of the Transportation Security Administration, or TSA. Americans have put themselves (and other global passengers) through 10 years of airport nonsense to supposedly counter a terrorist threat. Correct that– in a significant way, the terrorists have won, tying up civilian travel (and liberty) in untold knots.

Well, this time it is worth putting gripe to type because there is the beginning of change. Congress–or more precisely, the Senate, which performed the worst deed in allowing the TSA to create its own (unionized) work force in the legislation that followed 9/11/2001–is beginning to pull back.
