No TSA is moving up to bank robbery. Likely more lucrative than stealing laptops but comes with that nasty Federal felony charge.

I think the more remarkable thing to note from this story is that the stigma of being a TSA employee just doesn't go away. The stain lasts forever.

Can we at least recommend a liberal application of naval jelly to TRY removing the stain?

Seven months off the job and the fact that he's ex-TSA seems to be foremost in everyone's mind. Not only did the Oregonian's headline begin with "Former TSA", the name of the image file at KOIN is "6-4-13-tsa-suspect.jpg".

Since this is the indictment it came well after the actual crime. When was the bank robbed? Is this another example of an active screener being fired after committing a crime just so TSA can claim he no longer works there?

There seems to be a pattern of these stories coming out several months after the arrest giving TSA an excuse.

No I want TSA types to be marked for life, shunned by friends and neighbors.

The robbery happened on March 12.

So he quit touching testicles in November and robbed a bank in March. His disguise was a bit pathetic. Gee if I put on a pair of sunglasses nobody will recognize me.

This follows precicely with TSA (Tub-Stacking Asshats) (il)logic. For example, "If I ask airline passengers stupid questions and watch for "microexpressions" I will be able to ferret out potential terrorists before they attack."

I guarantee that trying to scrub the stain off with naval jelly will do exactly that.

Better to use it as lube while in prison. ;)

hydrochloric acid might yield more satisfactory results.

If those were the results I was looking for, I would have recommended hydrofluoric acid. ;)

Would use of trihydroxidooxidophosphorus really be much different than using hydrochloric acid?

HCl is classified as a "strong acid," while phosphoric acid is a "weak acid."

The latter appears in many carbonated beverages... but at "naval jelly" concentrations, can do some interesting things to living tissues.
