After being abused by that FSD's direct report, TSM Alex Chamizo, I can't bring myself to watch that (expletive deleted). Fuuuuuuuck him.

I had to end it about halfway through -- NOTHING seemed truthful, esp. when he started citing the Johns Hopkins testing.

I almost posted this last week. The video is unwatchable. Mostly amusing b/c the TSA official, Tim Lewis, seems barely capable of reading his own remarks. The writer alludes to how unusual it is for TSA to even let such public speaking occur. You'd think they'd be able to come up with someone who could at least do that.
    The story begins, tongue-in-cheek:

More than likely he's one of the best they have to offer. Just look at their other mouthpieces -- idiots like Blogger Bob, Nico & Pissy himself.

No intelligent cogent human being is going to speak on behalf of an agency that gropes grannies and steals cupcakes.

Aren't those the Johns Hopkins "tests" that Johns Hopkins disavowed because they were never actually allowed to test an actual scanner, but instead given a collection of spare parts cobbled together?

Yeppers! That would be the "study" to which you are referring. (You're right, Mike, this smiley is getting a workout!)

Our top-secret, cutting-edge TUG Technology Division has been trying desperately to fabricate a  that can keep up with TSA, but they keep lowering the barrier.

You have highly respected radiologists who are concerned about these machines and the damage they are capable of doing. We should ignore them and listen to some crotch grabbing government pimp? This is a PR war they've lost at the gate, pardon the pun.

FLL TSA FSD is the guy who in my opinion covered up for a TSA Checkpoint thief.

I would suggest that anything out of his mouth is very questionable.

Yeah, right, I'm going to believe that effin idiot over true experts. I won't watch the video/propaganda, but I feel 100% confident that he doesn't have any credentials to actually support his opinion other than just working for the TSA, and re-stating what some other dolt told him. It's like Homer Simpson giving advice on radiation exposure. He should be forced to "voluntarily" change the fuel rods in a nuclear power plant.

It would appear that Ft. Lauderdale (FLL) airport's FSD Tim Lewis working for TSA who according to this video has provided expert testimony that cancer-causing ionizing radiation emitted by the junkatron whole body imaging, aka Advanced Imaging Technology machines is safe.

According to his bio released by TSA when he was appointed chief ball juggler at FLL, he is a counterterrorism expert. That's great. That tells me he can fondle another man's package better than almost anyone.

What he is not is a scientist, or a physicist, or a doctor, or any other number of people who would be qualified to testify about the safety of cancer-causing ionizing radiation used in his airport. Tim Lewis is being irresponsible by stating that such things are safe.

Of course, I would expect nothing less from an agency that just this year so far has determined that:

2 cupcakes in a jar look "delicious"
While 1 of those same 2 cupcakes in a jar looks like a bomb
While also allowing 5 pounds of explosive material on a plane

Since it's patently obvious that employees of TSA don't know what a bomb is when they're supposed to be looking for them, I wonder how they'll fare describing the cancerous qualities of their equipment, about which they only know what they want to believe.

Tim Lewis, the FSD of FLL, while apparently a well-educated individual in his field of male-on-male sexual molestation, shouldn't be trusted with data related to human health and safety. He simply isn't qualified to make such a determination.

He's a TSA employee. That defines anything coming out of his mouth as questionable - at best.

I have had some direct contact with FLL FSD Tim Lewis. In fact he is largely responsible for my TSA AWAKENING.

If he was starving I wouldn't give him a red cent.

The Johns Hopkins institution of world renown is the Medical School and Hospital system. It really doesn't matter what APL thinks if the Medical School is saying they're unsafe.

Dr. Michael Love apparently doesn’t think the backscatter x-ray full body scanners are safe. Dr. Love runs an x-ray laboratory at the Department of Biophysics and Biophysical Chemistry at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine has stated,

“They [TSA] say the risk is minimal, but statistically someone is going to get skin cancer from these [backscatter] x-rays.”

Speaking to the press, Dr. Love went on to say,

“No exposure to x-ray is considered beneficial. We know X-rays are hazardous, but we have a situation at the airports where people are so eager to fly that they will risk their lives in this manner.”

I see this is no different from Pissy's You don't need-to-do-3rd-party-testing-on-the-machines-because-I-say-they're alright.
Peon is same as the boss.

And really, the guy who wants you to buy his snake oil, will of course tell you it is safe.
