Two Border Patrol pigs detain Gavin Seim, his wife and three small children at an internal checkpoint, placing stop strips under his tires to prevent him from driving away. After several minutes they let them go without having answered any of their questions and without providing any ID.
This is up in the state of Washington. Not a lot of love for the Border Patrol up in that neck of the woods since they've descended up on that state and done just crazy things like stopping all traffic on busy highways for their d*mned random checkpoints and also camping out at Catholic churches looking for brown people. Right on for Gavin!
This is also the area where they got most fed up with the Border Patrol providing Spanish translators, after a berry picker panicked, ran and drowned in a river.
I stand corrected. I think the fellow is from Washington, but the video caption says it was near Alamagordo, New Mexico. Geez. I was in Santa Fe for a few years. That's gotta be close to the 100 mile limit from the Mexican border, I believe. See how the government thinks about these checkpoints, from a 2009 GAO study
