This site claims that it's poll is "scientific", here is the distribution:

    7% “A,”
    17% said “B,”
    35% “C,”
    17% D,”
    12% “F,”

Using A = 4.0, B=3.0, etc., the GPA comes out to 1.89 (almost down to C- territory). :D

Given the Red Team failure rates and various GAO reports, the poll respondents are quite generous.

Most people take into account the curve. For their skills, training and education? They're still just slightly BELOW your average. (Comp jobs include delivery boy, fast food work, etc)

    Oh. :(

When I saw the thread title, I thought you meant 'grading' with one of those big noisy trucks that makes the road surface smooth. This isn't nearly as entertaining...

How long have you been having these violent visions?

Many respondents probably have logged more miles on their lawn tractor than on an airliner. Hardly a scientific poll.

    1.89 GPA where I go to school is a D average (A= 4.0, B=3.0, C=2.0 D=1.0), but my grading of TSA is easy F

    The cutoffs are typically at the halfway point: 0-0.49 = F, 0.5-1.49 = D, 1.5-2.49 = C, 2.5-3.49 = B, 3.5-4 = A.

I doubt that 1.89 is a D, given that would make 3.89 (very high A at most schools) a B. Unless, of course, you do it the University of Illinois way and run the scale from 1.0 to 5.0. :D

It's differentiated by Democrat, Republican, Independent.
The Democrats awarded no failing grades (LOL), perhaps because, like in our school systems "everybody is a winner." But I digress...

Independents, as I self-identify, offered the most "F" grades.
