    Feel like I need a towel Nachtnebel from the sarcasm.

    Funny one is that I have shot WWII PPK and Lugers. Was not using modern high power rounds but greatly reduced loads.

    I have a .45 auto from WW I ...

    ... a S&W Model 1917 revolver chambered for .45 Auto. I don't reduce loads for it, just use standard .45 auto loads & the ever-annoying moon clips.
