Thanks, I was on the road & limited to my 'droid most of the the day. I love the comments on the Daily Mail site, e.g.
RYANAIR !!! they wrote the book on this sort of scam.
Passengers should have taken ownership of the aircraft.
OMG! Wouldn't that constitute "air piracy?"
OOps, I guess that's what the airline attempted to do to the passengers...
I'm sure they would've been arrested and thrown in jail for "indefinite detention" on charges of "suspicion of "terrorism." At least that's what would've happened in this country. With a SWAT team storming the plane for good measure.
I think a lien could have been placed on the aircraft by the people who ponied up the funds to buy fuel.
