Indiana Allows Citizens to Shoot Law Enforcement Officers

    cops invading your home illegally or reasonably thought to be entering illegally can be resisted with deadly force!

    Remember that Indiana Supreme Court ruling that police could come into your house illegally and you could do nothing about it? Mitch Daniels just stuck that ruling so far up their *sses they'll be able to spit it out...

    The law goes over existing law governing your right to defend yourself in your home and underlines the new phrase "against ANY OTHER PERSON"

    If this were out of the blue, I'd consider it a sign that the tide is starting to turn. Unfortunately the Indiana Supreme Court decision placed them so far out in left field that this merely restores the status quo, which is most states is well defined in common law.

    Actually this law sets the line slightly below common law.
