Doober, I know. That's the only thing that will wake her up. Same with lots of my friends and colleagues. Too many of them still don't get it. Worse, they don't want to get it. I can sympathize with people who genuinely don't know what's going on (if hard to believe), but I have no sympathy for willful ignorance.

That's how we win this one grope at a time.

Unfortunately, "one grope at time", although effective, will take a long time and people's memories are short. That's why a public awareness campaign is so important. For every diaper removal, theft or strip search that gets reported there are likely dozens or more that go unreported for various reasons. Much like rape cases, often the victims remains silent for fear of further humiliation or embarrassment.

I am appalled at the willingness of so many Americans to accept Government sponsored abuse just to board a plane. Many of them undoubtedly attempt to rationalize this by trying to convince themselves and others that its for their own good, when nothing could be further from the truth.

Fisher, completely agree. That's why I keep plugging away. There's so much to say about the psychology of people who choose to be blind to injustice. But I'm starving and off to dinner, so that'll have to wait for another time!
