I got this too. I feel sick after reading it. Literally sick. These people make me sick. Pistole makes me sick.:vomit:NOTHING in there about all of the abuses, the assaults, the theft, the sexual molestations, the total disregard for the 4th Amendment.

I wrote basically the same thing, Jon.

Cool... hopefully we'll share a cell at Gitmo, after the administration signs the NDAA and determines that those disloyal to the administration must be Al Qaida sympathizers.

I guess BB was so busy fielding strip search reports that it took him awhile to finish up this position statement.

Not surprising but demonstrates that this site is an absolute waste of time. So much for transparency in this administration.

Well, it's transparent enough. Transparently obvious that we the people are being worked against, not for.

Anyone else notice that the response claims they screen 100% of bags? What about the cargo that goes unchecked?

    Talk about dis-information

Total disregard for the concerns. 34,000 Americans 100% blown off with canned PR material. It is an incredible insult, and still somewhat shocking to me that no effort is made whatsoever to address the impetus behind the petition. Total power, arrogance, contempt...
If anyone still thinks reform is possible, let this be your answer.

I can't say what I really want to say. I did send a nasty gram through the White House contact page.

The @$$holes plans in Washington are near complete.

    1. They can continue to lie and mislead the public as to what they are doing, feigning real concern for the issues.
    2. With SOPA, they can take down/block any websites they deem "anti-government", thus keeping people from communicating.
    3. The FBI, CIA, military, etc., can arrest those that still present a "problem" or don't consent to their continued ruling.

To be fair, this guy lost any hope of getting my vote with the Defense Appropriation act. Sorry, but I kinda draw the line at "Suspending Habeas Corpus".

But this... this just may be the worst decision in the history of an administration that has raised making bad decisions to an art form.

Here you have 35k+ people who hate... let me say that again... HATE... an organization enough to take time out of their day and go out of their way to petition to have it abolished... and they think the best response is to have the director of said organization reply to the people with a canned PR piece??? REALLY???? Is there a SINGLE PERSON out there took time to sign this petition, and who's going to have their mind changed by this pablum??? What... POSSIBLE... GOOD... can this have done?

Never mind the politics of it. It's just plain flat-out retarted.

I think it's time to start channeling my inner Crazy Eddie... EVERYTHING must go.

I said pretty much this same thing, and much more, in multiple emails back to the WH.

TSA would say cargo is not checked bags. TSA would be right but that doesn't lessen the chance of an explosive being in cargo. TSA seems to have plenty of time to harass people at the gate, STRIP SEARCH granny, feel up little girls and boys, but TSA can't seem to find the time to screen cargo.

I would suggest that TSA doesn't really have a grasp of what security really is!

We decided at TSA News that it's not even worth responding to. It's a non-response in and of itself, so we're not going to dignify it by acknowledging it.

That's my reaction too. Thanks for the head's up. I won't even open the email. It deserves to go in spam, and anything else that comes from the same source will meet the same fate.

It's junk mail, pure and simple.

I guess with Pissy's response the White House failed to learn its lesson:

John Pistole has shown himself to be a compulsive liar. The words of a compulsive liar are less than nothing. To allow John Pistole to respond to the valid concerns of American citizens who want his agency disbanded adds insult to injury. We've all heard from John Pistole. That's the problem.

Now we want to hear from the President and our Legislators, and "more of the same" isn't what we're looking for.

    These bozos are so fired!

PS: Seriously, who listens to a compulsive liar or cares what such a person says? What such a person says or writes is immaterial. Such a person's words aren't even worth feeling angry about, should you accidentally become privy to them.

If we ignore them, it comes across as being accepting of them. He has to be shown on every single possible occasion to be the liar that he is.
