CBS Local New York: TSA Agents Spot Passenger With Pen-Sized Stun Gun At JFK

TSA agents spotted the pen-sized stun gun in the man’s checked luggage and called Port Authority Police, who confiscated the weapon and arrested the man on a weapons charge. Operations at the airport weren’t impacted.​

If his travel originated outside New York and he was only connecting at JFK, the arrest and confiscation were illegal, an ongoing scam at New York airports where they eventually drop the charges once you've hired a lawyer to straighten them out.
