Apparently bennie Thompson is still miffed about the BDO program and related profiling. Funny that the former TSA apologist goes negative when his scanner interests and constituents are potentially affected. http://www.washingtonpost.com/polit...ic-profiling/2011/11/28/gIQAtOiO6N_story.html
From that article: (expletive deleted). The claim is made outright that such a "tool" even exists. SPOT is no such "counterterrorism tool." I won't write the language here that I would like to use and that I do use in my private life. There is no lie too great for Pistole to tell. There is nothing -- nothing -- he won't say to justify the inane, half-assed, garbage procedures of his criminal agency. He is shameless. There was no (expletive deleted) "SPOT validation study." Except in his fevered brain. Or conducted by his incompetent cohorts. SPOT hasn't been validated because it's a voodoo program that lets smurfs go on power trips and get their jollies by harassing innocent people. In fact, it's been debunked, soundly, by actual experts who use actual scientific methods, something with which Pistole is evidently unacquainted. And what is this "nine times" (expletive deleted)?? "Nine times"?? "Rigorous, systematic"?? This man is disgusting.
That's questionable, just as it is for all TSA employees. If one lacks humanity, I question whether or not they're actually human.
Thanks for posting the article. It looks like TSA is offending a broader and broader swath of influential people. It doesn't really matter what Pistole says. Nobody in Washington believes him anyway. Support for TSA is not founded on the charisma of that walking cadaver.
