Lynching Charges to Silence Protest

    If terrorist conspiracy won't fly, now lynching is being alleged to discourage protest with prospects of the felony record. As noted in this MSNBC story, it's been used a few times already, in Oakland, and now LA.
    If they are going to charge Occupiers with felony lynching, for stepping off the curb, then shouldn't the oops of TSA genital contact/penetration be called out under the FBI's definition of rape?

    I think what they're pretending to target are those who come to the aid of their fellow demonstrators when they are arrested. It sort of makes sense when you think about it in that context.

    However, they are really stretching their credibility in the case of the guy who stepped off the curb.

    Two different things, not at all the same.

    But wow, what a racist use of this law. Note, both people quoted in the article are not white.

    Another attempt to quell free speech. Just one in a continuing series. Watch for things to get worse this year.

    Yeah, a real dangerous character there. A threat to the community.
