Not here but a Boston Logan repeat in England. The pervs at Manchester seem to like having the naked image to gawk at all day.

"All parties were happy with the scanners?" Either the British are inherently sheep, or that's a bunch of bull:poop:.

The article did say it was perferred to "frisking". I'll bet. Or maybe British society in general is exhibitionist, starting with the royal family.

I'm pretty sure this decision was about radiation. The story dances around the true issue, but the scrapped scammers were Xray backscatter, which the entire E.U. has shown great skepticism over. Only the UK was willing to use them, and the rest of Europe was appalled.

me too. you couldn't get 100% if you asked people if they would take free money.

I'll be honest, I would prefer a WBI scan over a frisking but why does it have to be backscatter when there are safer methods?

    You're forgetting the Hamburg evaluation.

Europe has largely rejected the MMW machines as well because of the large numbers of false positives (> 50%) that result in unnecessary frisking.

I don't like the idea of being scanned and still getting a pat down but of the scanners I would take MMW over Xray any day.
