USA Today: TSA expands test of letting pilots skirt security lines
Oh, I see, pilots are more of a citizen than the millions of other citizens getting groped and ogled at nude by sexual predators and gun toting criminals!
Some animals are created more equal than others.
Where is the XE pilot that took a stand a year ago against the the Scope 'N Grope?
They're not letting him in on this deal.
I don't have a problem with letting the pilots through, plain and simple.
While I agree that it makes sense from a practical standpoint, I disagree with the notion of creating a special class of people. Government is notorious for mission and regulatory creep and this will lead to other special classes that are exempted.
Next it will be the FAs, then politicians, then LEOs, then Platinum FFs, then Federal workers with a clearance and anyone else in some special group. This will further isolate average passengers, escalate the abuse and reduce any political incentive to correct this mess.
