New Street Lights To Have “Homeland Security” Applications

If anyone needed any more proof that Homeland Security was actually more about Homeland Oppression then add this little gem to the pot. Soon your every move and communication will be monitored by government.

How much of the world can we tune out & turn off? I already turn off my hearing aids to protect my hear from TSA's endless announcments. At MSP they start down on the LRT platform and continue until you're on a plane. For the folks in the UK, I respectfully suggest that they pick up their trash and throw it at the camera or loudspeaker. Gum wrappers won't do much, but beer bottles might make some progress.

Not a street light but a monitoring station.

Have you ever wondered why they continue to talk about parking when you are already at your gate and well away from any car? One of the things I liked about Schiphol was how quiet it was on the concourse.

other solutions: radio frequency jammers and periodic use of EMP devices

seriously, mobile scanners to scan through crowds? and just what is the justification or need of this. all the acts of terror that ARE NOT being carried out? I think
it is simply economics. Companies want to sell this stuff and are using the government agencies as transaction proxies.
