Moving Amy Alkon right along

Wow, just wow. The TSA Blog page has "reissued" (my wording) a post originally posted on or about November 15th of this year and dated it today, November 22nd.

    http://blog.tsa.gov/2012/11/tsa-2012-holiday-travel-tips-news.html

This has effectively moved the Amy Alkon thread off the first page.

I guess my post to the Alkon thread that I have written to my Congresspeople and e-mailed Reps. Mike Rogers and Peter King asking that Blogger Bob be immediately removed from his position at the TSA won't see the light of day now.

Bob is nothing but an f***ing b****ard.

  2. And, there was a puppy post, too, right before it! The tactics are so obvious.

And all the more reason that he be relieved of his position tomorrow!

"TSA 2012 Holiday Travel Tips & News"

Bob Burns (TSA Blog Team) said...
I've seen some chatter and conspiracy theories as to why I moved this post to the top.

There really wasn't much thought to it. It's the holiday travel season. Busiest time of the year... It only makes sense to have our post with travel tips at the top. That's all...

Even if a post gets bumped from the front page, it's still there. All you have to do is either click "Older Posts" at the bottom of the page, or go to the side bar on the right and view the archives.

    Happy Thanksgiving!

  6. Well. That still doesn't explain the puppy post.

Someday, hopefully soon, Bloghdad Bob will receive a congressional subpoena to explain just what he does to earn a government paycheck.

When that happens, I'll actually take time off and take AMTRAK down to DC to watch him turn on the spit.

It is up to us to keep the TSA Amy comment and questions fresh and a point in every post to the TSA Blog. He can move the post off the front page but unless Blogdad Bob censors every post then we can always add content to on topic discussions.

edit to add: Submission to TSA Blog

The TSA Thanksgiving Travel Tips has been posted on 11/20/2009, 11/22/2010, 11/15/2011 and this year originally on 11/15/2012 not 11/22/2012. Not once has that information been re-posted to the actual holiday when most travel had already commenced.
Blogger Bob's claim that he moved this years post to 11/22/2012 from 11/15/2012 when it was originally posted certainly raises some questions as to motive.
Is it as Blogger Bob claims "It only makes sense to have our post with travel tips at the top" the real reason or is it the much more likely reason to help hide TSA's personal attack on Amy Aklon that was carried out by Blogger Bob using taxpayer funds, time and equipment for his attack?
I will let you the readers of this blog decide just how honest they think Blogger Bob really is.
By the way Bob, do TSA employees have to provide ID when requested?

He went out of his way to make himself look like a royal (expletive deleted) when he attacked Amy Alkon. Now is miffed that he succeeded so royally.

The TSA Blog is nothing but propaganda by a 2nd-rate propagandist.

RB, those tips of from 2009-2011 were reposted in those years - but not until right before the Christmas travel season. I pointed this out to the Boob in a post which may or may not see the light of day but has been saved.

On the TSA Blog is a short list of popular post for the last thirty days. A thread from 2008 is listed but after a lot of interest in the Amy Alkon thread is has drifted off into oblivion. To get the Amy Alkon thread in this list will take a bunch of page hits according to Blogdad Bob so if you would please help me and go to the Amy Alkon thread on the TSA Blog a few times today and every day until it appears of the home page.

    Thanks.

The neat thing is that this list is put up by a WP widget, it's not something Blogdad Boob can manipulate short of removing either the widget or the post about Amy.

Just curious, mergatroid.org seems to be a dead link. Is this just a script that has the thread address encoded in it?

I said it's reloading the page, not displaying the page. :D

    This is all it shows:

Hi, I'm working for Doober at Monday, 03-Dec-2012 14:32:35 EST.

With the time changing every 5 seconds.

    This is the code:

I saw the working for doober message so guess that means the page is not dead. I tried going to mergatroid.org and got the poem. Was just curious how it worked and I appreciate your answer.

I know about zero as far as html is concerned.

Working like a charm for me!

I set it up when I got back from lunch after reading this thread, and it just keeps ticking away while I'm seeing patients. :D
