First of all, I'd like to extend you a warm TravelUnderground welcome and say that we're glad to have you in our community. A few pointers to help you get started: -At the top of each forum are the "sticky" threads. These never disappear over time and will always be positioned right at the top of the list. These commonly include forum-specific helpful information, who's-who of the forum, and answers to FAQs pertaining to the forum or TUG as a whole. -Read the policy threads. TUG is based strongly on free speech and it is a cornerstone of our community. We moderate as lightly as possible and make a point to moderate much more lightly than other travel-related sites - we do check this from time to time to make sure that we're always respecting people's free-speech rights. However, there are some policies we have to implement to protect all of us from outside interference with our community. Take some time to familiarize yourself with these policies so you'll have an easier time abiding by them. They're straightforward and comprehensible, we promise. -When in doubt, ask! The founding members and coaches here on TUG are 100% willing to answer questions. If you have doubts about whether something is okay to post, ask any FM or Coach. Don't let a good post go unposted for fear of moderation, we don't operate that way here. We can't promise an immediate response but we'll answer as quickly as possible. Also, if you have questions about why a post was moderated, ask that too. YOU WILL NEVER BE PUNISHED FOR ASKING A COACH ABOUT A MODERATION DECISION. We operate on fairness and openness here - people get enough secret rules at TSA checkpoints, and we're in no mood to add to the tally. Finally, post yourself a meet-n-greet thread here in New Users. Tell us why you're here, who you are, a bit about yourself, anything you think would be interesting to our community. That's about all, I won't take up any more of your time. Welcome, once again, to TUG, and let the collaboration commence!
