WPBF: Baby, 18 months old, ordered off plane at Fort Lauderdale airport

The "no fly" explanation doesn't hold water -- that would have been caught when they tried to check in. One of TSA's dimmer bulbs (of which there is no shortage) made a decision to track them down & harass them.

Even more of a reason why the No fly list needs to go, complete and udder bull :trash:. What is gonna take to stop this BS, mass trepinese usage for anyone in TSA or associated with DHS/CIA/NSA.

Sounds like the Jet Blue pilot wanted this done. can you spell l-a-w-s-u-i-t?

Or a JetBlue employee decided the TSA made a good scapegoat. It's not like anyone would really disbelieve a statement that the TSA was being stupid - AGAIN.

I thought Blogdad Bob had told us that no children are on the No Fly List so surely an 18 month old child would not be on the list. Of course if this list is managed like other TSA programs we all know the condition of the list.

Clearly each organization is trying to blame the other one. Wouldn't be surprised if there's enough blame to go around.

There usually is when anyone willingly "works" with the TSA.

This is my favorite comment on that story: At this point I'm glad they didn't lose the baby in a warehouse for a couple years.

FLL is the airport where the TSA Screener had his hand in my wifes purse just as it exited the X-ray machine. FLL FSD did nothing!

"...the airline had mistakenly indicated the child was on a government watch list."

    Nice.

With each story I become more and more convinced that we need to revoke the breathing license of every Pedosmurf, supervisor, and manager in TSA.

Then we need to start doing the same to the Department of Homeland Security, which sounds better in the Original German.

A little vecuronium without the sedative? Even with the shortage I think enough could be rounded up to do the job. 14ga to the ringfinger for a IV?

Why waste perfectly useful drugs? Rope is cheap, and object lessons in the white zone have a great visual impact.

Oh and on the subject of 14ga, ringfinger is good for female smurfs. For the males I would recommend a different "finger", if you know what I mean.

    Excerpt from slashgear account:

Not quite sure how that squares with:

God, do any of these organizations ever admit they're wrong?? They sound just like the TSA. What a depressing display.

The way I see it no one inside the US should be on a no fly list. Arrest and charge or shut up.
