That is the sad fact. Most people don't think its a big deal until it happens to them.

It will change, albeit one grope at a time.

I think that's sadly true - one grope at a time. Maybe I've said this already, or others have, but I also think it's that people don't want to believe that this happens on a regular basis.

the random gestapo tactics now being rolled out, where passengers are grabbed at the gate forced into an enclosure and sexually molested, after having gone through AIT to avoid just this, horrible as it is, is our friend. that trick will accelerate resentment against these un American enemies of the people.

Forced into an enclosure? What does this mean? Are people roped off from other passengers?

It's been a year since I've flown ---- I remember gate searches where people were pulled out of line for a cursory bag check, but that was the extent of it.

I also wonder about these enclosures. Haven't been in an airport for 18 months so it's not surprising I haven't seen one, but this is the first I've heard of them.

Is it like some kind of portable penalty box? Or something different?

Its been a couple of months since I last flew. I have witness gate searches. Seems very common at FLL and LAS. I have never seen anyone taken to an enclosure but that could be a new wrinkle on more TSA passenger abuse.

Hey, that article in the CS Monitor was written by my niece! I hadn't even noticed! I'm forever griping to her about my really bad experiences with the TSA! :)

    Yay, Lizzy! :)

    he he he

enjoy the consequences of your actions Mr. Pike.

you know the golden rule is really superior to a lot of the regs and loopholes you chose to follow. Following it would have saved you a world of grief.
