Open snack bags by using coins.

Lifehacker has this nifty article about opening snack bags with two coins that function as impromptu scissors.

That's not the interesting part. The interesting part is that as soon as the ensuing discussion turns to "doesn't everyone have a pocket knife?", TSA-bashing sets in. Almost immediately.

I added my bit of fuel to the fire (for the record, I meant it - they do all deserve bone cancer and a lingering, undignified death) but the fire was burning before I got there. "An excuse for some overpaid, illiterate TSA (expletive deleted) to treat you like a mass murderer."

Travel was never mentioned in the article, and yet people jumped at the opportunity to give TSA a well-deserved trashing (again, TSA and all its employees always deserve every last piece of criticism and degradation they receive - there are no exceptions, though I'd say Pissy is front-and-center). TSA has become a household name when it comes to the hatred of the people.

Not seeing any TSA-bashing in the comments. Looks like Lifehacker's brown-nosing DHS again.

Still there under the first comment about carrying a knife.

Why not just take a pair of scissors since supposedly there allowed by the TSA Stasis.

I can see them on the regular site, but not the mobile-formatted.
