Sunday blather about how blanket surveillance has thwarted plots...blah blah blah. Great online comment: "I am sure if they locked every citizen up they could prevent even more."
The last sentence in the first paragraph makes no sense to me. http://www.ibtimes.com/obama-compares-nsa-surveillance-airport-security-checks-1310847
I don't recall anyone asking me to make a "decision" about going through airport security. I either submit or I don't fly.
The latest buzz has Washington's resident Obamanation calling NSA spying "transparent". Can you say "delusional"? And then there's the NYPD commissioner: 'NSA should come clean about domestic spying': Ray Kelly Can you say "hypocrite"? After Ray Kelly comes clean about his own domestic surveillance network and countless police abuses, we can start to make some progress.
Business occurs at the speed of trust. Due to the NSA's criminal activities, trust is at an all time low. The economic consequences of lost trust will be significant.
Looks like Kelly has an ulterior motive -- apparently the Justice Dept. is moving to place the NYPD in receivership under a federal monitor.
