Breitbart: Exclusive: 9th Circuit Takes Plush Maui Vacation At Taxpayer Expense, As Others Cut Back

The official extravaganza web page: http://www.ca9.uscourts.gov/judicial_conference/index.html

From the "Contact Us" page, these are people responsible for ripping off the taxpayers for this extravaganza:

    Asst. Circuit Executive

    AzizA Bledsoe
    Conference Assistant

According to Breitbart, 3 of the 12 circuits have canned their conferences for this year, the rest (excepting the 9th) appear to have curtailed the expenses, and then there's the 9th ...

In calculating costs, remember to include the salaries of all the judges & other bureaucrats in attendances as well as the event costs. It adds up.

How many homeless can be fed for $1M? This is such a gross squandering of public resources.

Is it too much to hope they are flying commercial and at least one of them will qualify for an "enhanced pat down" or have something stolen out of their luggage?

Wow! I looked at the brochure, and sent a copy to my friend udontknowme, who kindly hosted me in Maui last winter, suggesting that he'll have to step up his hospitality a bit to equal the taxpayers hospitality to the judges. I'm definitely in the wrong job.

I'd double their entertainment budget if they actually stepped up and protected our freedoms like they're supposed to. As it is, they're just well-paid whores living it up on the backs of those they help oppress.
