Flying out of PWM yesterday, I was waiting for the GA to tell me if she would need me to volunteer, when I noticed a passenger on a CO flight holding his phone up to the window, and continuously recording. I could see his screen, and he only had a view of the ramp, which did not seem to include anything sensitive.

He then went to board, when one of the PWM cops came up to me, started asking me where I was going, etc, and then said bye.. Another pax pointed to the pax who was boarding his flight, and the cop walked back to their office at the checkpoint, where he started to talk with the other cops there.

While it may be strange to be continuously recording, it seems like the TSA has gotten us into such a state of panic that we have to report everything

If there's something so secret out on an airport ramp, paint the windows black.
